In November 1974 "Ilana & Palti" moved to London, England. Where they mainly performed under their first name "Zemed HaHayim Hatovim" ("The Goodlife Duo") in several Israeli evenings of entertainments, organized by Tel Hay Fund, Jewish Agency for Israel, Makkabi, Zionist Federation of Great Britain & Ireland, Brit Hashmonayim, Joint Senior Youth Movements, Israel Students Association in Great Britain and Jewish-Christain Friendship Organizations in Europe.
Their repertoire included international folk songs, as well as Yemenite and Israeli songs, like
"Lecha Dodi" (לכה דודי) (music: Paltiel-hay Jacoby, lyrics: Shabbat song), "Mah Yafah 'At Yaldati" (מה יפה את ילדתי) (music and lyrics: Paltiel-hay Jacoby) and "Esa Einai" (אילנה ופלטי) ( lyrics: Psalm 121, melody composed by Shlomo Carlebach).

"Ilana & Palti" also volunteered to sing for Israeli wounded soldiers, through the "IDF Disabled Veterans Organization" (ארגון נכי צה"ל). The soldiers started making fun and did not listen. So Paltiel-hay Jacoby told them: "Listen, I am sorry for your injuries, but I was during the war on all fronts in an elite combat unit and now we volunteered to be here to sing for you, after a long day of work. We are not paid to be here, so we can leave, if you continue to be noisy". They stopped.
The local Rabbi Gaon came to him and said "You know the singer, Yehoram Gaon, is from my family."

In 1975 Ilana & Palti left England to move to Germany.

Later in 1978 "Ilana & Palti" went to England again, to record their last single " Love just knocked at my door / When you're young and in love" in EMI studios London.
Under the production of David Vaughan, who was the manager of his father, Frankie Vaughan, a well known singer and actor in England and in the United States.

Already in 1975 "Ilana & Palti" caught the interest of David Vaughan, when Ilana was in a shop in London and someone said "Do you know who just left the shop? It was Frankie Vaughan and his son!" So Ilana took all her courage in both hands and rushed out after them. As the result, David who was also an agent, agreed to listen to their tapes.
