Paltiel-hay Jacoby's experiences as an actor:

In 1972 Paltiel-hay's neighbour was Gila Voruner, who was together with the international movie director, Menachem Golan (Hebrew מנחם גולן). She told Paltiel-hay that Menachem is at her house to film the movie  "The Great Telephone Robbery" (Hebrew "שוד הטלפונים הגדול") and that he needs two policemen.

He went with her to see Menachem and he asked him, if he had another friend who looked like him. So he told his friend about it and they were going to be policemen in a movie, directed by Menachem Golan. 
For that they received each 50 Shekels.

They were very happy about it and already planned their trip to Hollywood, when they noticed that they were not to see at all, as they have been cut out of the movie.

Later Paltiel-hay had another try in a leading role in a movie as an Israeli officer, but for budget reasons it was stopped.
